Hey Everyone,
Its been a long 3 weeks since I moved to London. I'll just give a few details of the first few weeks.
WEEK 1: Worked alot, as I was trying to get up to speed out here. I also went on a day of flat(apartment) hunting. The flat hunting was mostly a wast of driving around, saw 9 places. I didn't see anything cool until the last 2 places. One 2 bedroom with a huge balcony but older interior and a single bed with a dorm looking interior. I almost decided to put an offer on the 2bed but decided to wait for Lins to see it. During thie week I also got to see my good friend from highschool, Nick Bugajski. We hung out 2 nights in a row, the second night was pretty fun. We went out with a few of his friends and a bunch of work friends of mine. Oh about half the office as there are only 12 of us in the office right now. Nick it was great to see you, hope you didn't have too many issues getting to the airport in the morning as we did go home around 4-5AM.
WEEK 2: More work! Then Lindsay came into town to do some more flat hunting. Bad news was that the 2 bed was under contract already so we went out to see more places. We ended up seeing only one place that was better that the 1 bedroom from the week before. It was a 2 bedroom, 2 floor mansionette. Its pretty cool, but you need to have an imagination from the pics that I took. The place was under new ownership and they were renovating it. All new furniture is going in, new carpet and mostly new kitchen. Only thing that wasn't getting major work was the bathroom. We have no clue what the furniture, or beds or anything really is going to look like. I tried to go see it this weekend but the timing wasn't right, so cross your fingers!
WEEK 3: Nothing new here. More learning about the London office as the other support guy is going on a 2 week vacation to a place where his phone probably won't work so its just me. Talk about throwing me into the fire! Haha, no it really shouldn't be that bad as I support all these guys during the night shift too.
So what else? I play basketball on both Saturday and Sunday mornings. The Sunday games are so much better, more competitive. I'm kind of sad that the church league starts tonight back home, sorry team I won't be making it... I heard we got a last minute pickup. Let me know how we do. Good news is that I am coming back for a week during Christmas, but I don't think we have a game. I am coming in the last weekend of January for work, so I will try to get there early on Saturday to play on Sunday. I'll get one game in at least, it might even be a playoff game, I have to check the schedule.
So the satellite company out here, SKY, actually shows 4 NFL games on Sundays. So I still can watch games. They also show the Sunday night and Monday night game but they are like 1AM my time! So I have to go, as the Colts/NE game just started.
Oh some other quick news, Lins got a job in London already and she hasn't even moved here yet. She will be coming out after Thanksgiving.
You can take a look at our place that we decided to move into, it will be ready around Nov. 12th, we'll see. Remember these picks it was still under renovation, and all furniture and carpet will be new.

Our place is only the pictures up to the quick floorplan I made. After that are some cool pics of London, the 1 bed we liked, the other 2 bed we lost, and then some pics of some other junk we saw.....
Oh and here is a link to the emails I send out if you ever want to read thru them again, or show someone that doesn't get them as I don't have everyones email. Please reply with peoples emails that would want to read these, or let me know if you want to be removed. I will be pretty busy the next 2 weeks working and moving into my new flat. Let me know what's up with you guys.
